OLONGAPO,now there was a good run ashore.always remember watching tv one night michael caine said to roger moore remember olongapo, they must have had a rare old time there.i wonder who they spent the night with...after all i belive we only had midnight leave. they had all night to do what they wanted to do.

Mick I very much doubt if either Michael Caine or Roger (crap actor) Moore even know where Olongapo is yet alone been there - except with a very large escort of very large people! But you are right it was a fantastic run ashore.................didn't go much on all the ants in the sugar when we had a coffee in the local nick; that was where I stopped putting milk in my coffee as well (just went right off it when I saw the drowned cockroach in it!)

yes 4.5 gunner, big bangs. worked in the coal mines nearly 20 years, driving noisy machines most of the time.quarry rest of the time, running a tar plant, plenty of noise, and yes tried to claim with my hearing, NO CHANCE, now if it was my eye sight, then thats a different thing.still never mind i can still sit here on my computer.....AND MY FAV COLOUR IS BLUE. EXCEPT WHEN IT COMES TO [color=#FF0000]VOTING

then its bright Blue? no way would I vote Blue again for a while.........yellow, green or White maybe but Blue or Red no chance - they have both shit on the country - not only the opposition but their own loyal voters as well!

Now BNP might be good for it (thats the Boozers National Pissup Party not the the other lot! to bloody left wing for me!) :oops: :oops: :oops: :o :o :o :o

See this is headed US BASES, just wondering other than Pompey, Guzz and Faslane do US have any bases left? Seems that now a trip to either Scotland or Jersey (well the Channel Islands are NOT in the EU - sensible buggers) is classed as a Foreign Jolly!

forked if I know mate! I do hear that if you up now you have to bring your own boat or the chance of sea-time is greatly reduced! Amazing really when you consider there are no Reserve Fleet to send the guys too!
